Brizo Restaurant & Bar, Park Hotel

Brizo Crab Buffet, Park Hotel

So, New Year's Day has come and gone with the wind and we did no resolutions, but ate till our heart's content for the past few days.

We had a mini barbecue outside my house. Following up the next day, there came a potluck and the day after is the long awaited Crab Buffet at Park Hotel we reserved earlier of week.

I was craving crabs a few days ago before we did the deed and we settled on a deal promotion:

We went on the very first day of the promotion at 6.30 pm sharp, and were probably the first to arrive.

Took a few pictures and got down to business.

Black Pepper Crabs:

Their signature which is liken to Chilli Crabs:

XO Steamed Crab:

Apart from these there were other dishes like the Fried Rice, Tomato-Based Penne, Cereal Prawns and Brocolli in Cream sauce (Can't remember the exact names). The best dish in the section has to be the XO Steamed Crab. Crabs are fresher and sweeter compared to the other sauce-based crabs. The rest of the dishes are just alright.

Us while we were at it:

These are probably 1/3 of what we had.

The desserts are fine for us. There is a chocolate fondue and some fruits to go with, the usual cheesecakes, chocolate mousse, tiramisu and durian puree. The durian puree has a hint of bitterness in a good way. I like the mini macaroons, especially the green and white ones! The glass shot jelly tasted like agar-agar and a waste of stomach space.

Overall:  to
There you have it, I hope you had a glimpse of what Brizo have to offer if you are having the crab buffet on another day. Although this particular buffet is not the most value for money, I must compliment on their service. The staffs are efficient and attentive, which sets the mood and created a pleasant dining experience. If any suggestions are needed, I would say we would love to see more variety on the plates.
